HOT DIP GALVANIZATION

In our plant we cover iron or steel with zinc and zinc-iron alloys by immersing the piece in molten zinc thus forming a protective layer of a very long duration in almost all natural environments. A layer which is harder than steel itself, which is capable of protecting small bare/exposed areas (Galvanic Protection), and is extremely economical. For small parts, we apply centrifugal force after immersion. We galvanize only the exterior of power radiators and other such parts.

GALVANIZINC & DUPLEX SYSTEMS

On galvanized coatings, we perform a surface preparation and we then add a layer of primer which is zinc compatible (Galvanizinc System) in order to facilitate the application and adhesion of finishing paints (Duplex System), carried out in our plant or by the client.

COLD PROCESS GALVANIZATION

In our plant or in the field we apply these re-coating paint type processes with 95% and 93% zinc in dry film which are capable of matching or exceeding the protection offered by hot dip galvanizing and which are much more heat resistant than this. ZRC is a zinc organic and ZEROVOC is super organic. These can be applied without the need for Sand-Blast.

PLASTICIZED BY THERMAL SPRAY

In our plant or in the field we cover metals, metal layers, wood, concrete, cement, brick or stone by spraying micro-drops of molten plastic thus forming impermeable layers which are highly resistant to attack by moisture, salinity, acids or other aggressive chemicals. Plastics are also resistant to UV and impacts, they are ductile, elastic, accepted for contact with food, and of very low toxicity in case of fire. We have different plastics with a variety of colors. The application of plastic on our metal coatings can achieve a duration of more than 100 years.

METALIZATION BY THERMAL SPRAY

In the plant or in the field, we recoat steel pieces and other metals by supersonic projection of molten micro-drops of: zinc, aluminum and zinc-aluminum alloys, either by gas or electric gun. Pieces can be of unlimited size and the protective layers obtained are of very long duration. Duration can be programmed according to thickness of the coating.

METALYZINC SYSTEM

At our plant or in the field, we metalize by thermal spray with an alloy of 85% Zinc and 15% Aluminum and we apply a special sealant-passivator. This system bears our name and can guarantee decades of duration even in the most aggressive environments found in the Gulf of Mexico. Field and laboratory studies, plus our own experience, endorse this. You can also choose to apply finishes that provide color and/or longer duration.

CLEANING OF PIECES

CLEANING OF PIECES

Before coating, all contaminants that can hinder or inhibit protection are removed from the surface, and in some cases an anchor pattern or etch profile is generated thus offering the best grip for the coating. For this we have the following line of abrasives applicable both wet or dry : Grit-Blasting, Sand Silica (Sand-Blasting), Garnet (Blasting) and Bicarbonate (Soda-Blasting).

GALVANIZINC SYSTEM

We perform a surface preparation on a galvanized coating and then we add a layer of primer which is zinc compatible (Galvanizinc System) in order to facilitate the application and adhesion of finishing paints (Duplex System), either in our plant or done by the client.

METALYZINC SYSTEM

We apply a layer of Zinc alloy (85%) and Aluminum (15%), over iron, steel or other metals, and on top of this, a special sealant-passivator which, in addition to covering surface pores, provides greater chemical stability. This results in a greater protective capacity for the alloy along with the contribution of the sealant. This protective system can guarantee nulled corrosion of the substrate for several decades even in the most corrosive environments of the Gulf of Mexico. Its benefits have been proven through various laboratory and field tests, as well as by our own applications for close to three decades. That's why this system bears our name: METALYZINC. It can be applied either in plant or on site.

LONG TERM PROTECTION FOR FITTINGS AND OTHER SMALL PIECES

For fasteners (bolts, anchors bolts, nuts, washers, screws, studs etc…) most systems can be applied which will ensure duration similar to those of the protected elements they hold: CENTRIFUGAL HOT GALVANIZED, SHERARDIZED/GALVANIZED DRY, and our advanced protection system the multi-metallic MEGAZINC. All three will last several times longer than the electrolytic zinc commonly applied to these parts. All are applied in the plant.

CHEMICAL CLEANING

We eliminate surface dirt, grease/oils and oxidants and protect with chemical products.

INDUSTRIAL PAINT SYSTEMS

In our plant or in the field, advanced specification industrial paints are applied by our highly qualified and NACE certified personnel.

APPLICATION OF INHIBITORS

In our plant or in the field, we apply corrosion inhibitors from VpCI from the world leader CORTEC Corporation for seasonal protection for pieces and equipment which is sensitive, metallic, electric and/or electronic, during the production process, transfer or operation.

OTHER COATINGS

We also have experience in the application of phosphatized coatings both cold or hot, and teflon.

SPECIFIC PRODUCT SERVICES

• REGISTERS. Fabricamos y galvanizamos diversos tamaños de las partes de acero de los registros para instalaciones domésticas, industriales o urbanas, de agua, electricidad etc. Al ser galvanizados, no se pegan.

• COILS. Galvanizamos en Caliente –solo por el exterior- serpentines de acero tubular de diverso tamaño. Al ser sumergidos enteros en el zinc fundido del baño de galvanizado se logra recubrirlos en su totalidad, evitando picaduras en lugares inaccesibles para otros recubrimientos.

• RADIATORS OF POWER TRANSFORMERS. Galvanizamos en Caliente -solo por el exterior- y pintamos si es requerido, radiadores de transformadores de potencia, de manera que su vida útil se incrementa varias veces al evitarse por completo su corrosión.

• ELECTRIC TRANSFORMERS. Aplicamos nuestro Sistema Metalyzinc más acabado verde -especificado por CFE- a transformadores eléctricos, logrando que la corrosión común a transformadores pintados, no logre perforarlos ni reducir su vida útil al ser instalados en zonas muy corrosivas como las costeras del Golfo de México.

• GAS TANKS. Aplicamos en planta nuestro Sistema Metalyzinc más acabado blanco a tanques estacionarios de gas LP. Estos tanques llevan garantía de 10 años sin mantenimiento en ambientes naturales, aunque pueden más que duplicar ese tiempo. Este sistema puede aplicarse en sitio a otros tipos de tanques sin importar su tamaño, como los enormes para petróleo y sus derivados.

• AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT. Para dar mayor vida útil a los equipos de aire acondicionado, protegemos: sus partes de cobre y aluminio con Galvanizado en Frío; sus conexiones eléctricas y gabinetes, con Inhibidores Cortec; y su cuerpo exterior y partes estructurales, con recubrimiento plástico de larga duración y muy baja porosidad que refuerza la protección original de fábrica.

• WATER HEATERS. Para dar mayor vida útil a los calentadores de agua a instalarse en zonas agresivas, protegemos sus partes de cobre o aluminio con Galvanizado en Frío; sus partes eléctricas con Inhibidores Cortec; y su cuerpo exterior con recubrimiento plástico de larga duración y muy baja porosidad que refuerza su protección original de fábrica.

• TUBS OR BATHS OF ACID PROCESS RESISTANT. Construimos y reparamos tinas o baños de proceso hechos con estructura de acero plastificada y paredes de polietileno (PE) o polipropileno (PP) soldadas.
